Before and after
The satisfactory final result is what patients seek when choosing aligner treatment for themselves. I SOLO Aligners have a lot to offer to their patients.
Most commonly, patients approach us with complaints about the appearance of their smiles or due to pain in the jaw muscles and temporomandibular joint. Both issues can be addressed with our aligners. In other words, no matter what problem you come with, you will receive a beautiful, straight, and functional smile without issues with the temporomandibular joint and jaw muscles. Crowded teeth, gaps between teeth, gummy smiles, or an open bite—everything can be addressed by SOLO aligners.
However, we start by conducting a detailed and comprehensive diagnosis to assess the current condition and identify all associated pathologies that can also be treated with aligners. Only after that, we model your future smile and coordinate it with you. All this is done to ensure that you not only see a nice picture but also feel confident that all possible risks in treatment planning have been considered.
The next step is the actual production of the aligners. Let's delve into this stage in more detail: first, we print models of your teeth on high-precision 3D printers, then we process them by rinsing in alcohol and exposing them to ultraviolet light.
The next stage is the thermoforming of the aligners around the printed models using a special device and under a pressure of up to 6 bars. All this is done to ensure that the aligner fits snugly to your teeth, preserving the smile's appearance, and most importantly, efficiently executing all the movements embedded in it. Once the future aligner is removed, we manually trim and process the edge of the aligner to ensure it does not harm your gums and is comfortable to use. Finally, we disinfect the finished SOLO aligners with a disinfectant solution and pack them together with all the necessary treatment accessories and extras.
Our patients often ask if they can finish the treatment already, as they feel that their smile is already straight, and all the work is done. However, in our work, we prioritize not only visually good results but also their functionality within the entire dental system and the longevity of the outcome, ensuring stability over the years, not just months.
On this page, we present some of our works so that you can assess the effectiveness of SOLO aligners and perhaps “recognize” yourself in one of the photos.
How to straighten teeth with SOLO aligners?
Frequently Asked Questions
Aligners straighten teeth and correct the bite using thin transparent trays. They function similarly to braces but are much more comfortable and inconspicuous to those around you
It depends on the complexity of the case, but typically, it ranges from 10 to 40 trays per jaw. The number of trays doesn't always correlate with the duration of treatment, as one tray can be worn for 7 to 14 days.
You can notice the first results within the first weeks of treatment.
After the removal of the aligners, the patient receives additional retainer trays, which they will wear only at night to stabilize the achieved results and prevent relapse in the future. This ensures that the outcome lasts for decades, not just months.
